This poetry book examines the angry Black women stigma, a misnomer for marginalized Black women throughout society. It’s a multi-faceted exploration of the “angry Black woman” in Amerikkka, transiting an array of experiences that justify her anger. Still, hope and joy flow throughout her narrative, a truth dismissed for a one-sided reality. Voices of Black PowHer is a Black women’s liberation movement.
